We are excited to have Dr Richard Senior join our team!
Dr Senior is a dedicated skin cancer GP who will be joining us as a part of our skin cancer clinic team.
Originally from the UK, Dr Senior graduated medicine in Birmingham in 1979 and then immigrated to Australia in 1991, settling in Hervey Bay.
During his time in Hervey Bay, Dr Senior set up his own GP practice before undertaking further training in Skin Cancer Medicine and making the move to a dedicated skin cancer clinic in 2008.
Since then, Dr Senior has spent time back in the UK providing GP services in London, ultimately coming back to the land of Oz to set up a new Skin Cancer Clinic GP facility in Hervey Bay.
Dr Senior moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2018 and has now joined the Currimundi Skin Clinic team after feeling the pull to perform some more skin cancer medicine.
Enjoying life on the Sunshine Coast with his wife, Dr Senior likes to get out and about chasing golf balls. In the cooler months, Dr Senior plays Veterans hockey as a goalkeeper, he even represented the State and Country at Masters level!
Dr Senior will be available for skin checks, minor procedures and skin excision on Wednesday & Thursdays.
