Currimundi Doctors is thrilled to announce that Dr Chris Howarth has joined us for 2025! After multiple years working on the Sunshine Coast and around Queensland, Dr Chris will be taking on existing patients of Currimundi Family Doctors.

Dr Chris is a dedicated general practitioner trainee registrar with a strong background in acute care, surgery, and public health. Holding a Doctor of Medicine from Flinders University and advanced qualifications in chronic care management, epidemiology, and public health, Dr Chris is passionate about delivering comprehensive, community-focused healthcare.

With experience as a resident medical officer in general medicine, cardiology, emergency care, and surgical specialties such as ENT and vascular surgery, Dr Chris has developed expertise in managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Prior to medical practice, he worked as an advanced care paramedic, further honing his skills in pre-hospital and emergency care.
