Established in 2016, Currimundi Family Doctors has grown into one of the Sunshine Coast’s leading family medical practices.
We are proud to remain independently owned, allowing us to focus on what matters most, our patients, our doctors and our team. We are a fully private billing practice that values quality care over volume, giving our doctors the time they need to provide comprehensive, patient-focused healthcare.
Our diverse team of experienced GPs has a wide range of special interests, enabling us to provide comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages. We encourage our doctors to develop their own areas of clinical interest while building a patient base that reflects their expertise and passions.
As an accredited GP training practice, we are committed to supporting the next generation of General Practitioners through high-quality education, mentoring and supervision. Many of our registrars have chosen to remain with us after achieving Fellowship, a reflection of our positive workplace culture and supportive environment.
Our commitment to excellence extends beyond patient care. We are proudly AGPAL accredited and continually invest in quality improvement, clinical governance and innovation to ensure the highest standards across every aspect of the practice.

- Four-bay treatment room for procedures, ECGs, spirometry, ear suction, microscopy, waterproof casting and more.
- Dedicated chronic disease management room supported by experienced chronic disease nurses.
- Three fully equipped procedure rooms for skin cancer checks, excisions and minor procedures.
- Dedicated women’s health procedure room.
- Negative pressure consultation rooms with a separate respiratory consulting area.
- Large, comfortable patient waiting area.
- Spacious staff room for breaks and team collaboration.
- Comprehensive allied health services located next door.
- Onsite QML Pathology collection.
- Fully AGPAL Accredited practice.
