Dr Will McCormack is a Specialist GP with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and completed all of his medical training within the Queensland Health system. Dr Will’s approach to care focuses on providing consultations that are unhurried, well-organised and thorough, ensuring patients feel heard and supported while receiving clear guidance about their health. Outside of medicine, Will enjoys spending time with family, proudly supporting his rugby league team, the NQ Cowboys, and creating medical education resources for junior doctors.

Dr Will takes a whole-person approach to healthcare. He works with patients to keep track of both new and long-standing health concerns, helping to coordinate care and bring clarity when health issues feel complex or overwhelming. He has a particular interest in working through symptoms or conditions that have not yet been clearly explained or diagnosed.

Dr Will believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to medicine. Every management plan is tailored to the patient’s individual circumstances, medical history and personal concerns, developed collaboratively together. Where possible, Dr Will aims to help patients avoid unnecessary hospital admissions or specialist referrals. If specialist care is needed, he ensures patients are referred to the most appropriate service and supported throughout the process.

Occasionally, health concerns can be more complex than expected and may require additional consultation time.
