Dr James Mann is originally from North Queensland and spent 10 years working as a pharmacist before pursuing his passion for medicine at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. He relocated to the Sunshine Coast as a medical student and has made it his home ever since.

Dr James has been part of Currimundi Family Doctors for several years and has become both a team and patient favourite. With his background in pharmacy and broad interests in general practice, he brings a well-rounded, thorough approach to patient care. He enjoys seeing the wide variety that general practice offers — from preventive health and children’s medicine to managing complex chronic conditions.

Outside of work, Dr James is an avid outdoorsman. He makes the most of the Sunshine Coast lifestyle by camping, hiking, mountain biking, and exploring with his 4×4. His approachable nature and commitment to long-term patient relationships reflect the welcoming, community-focused culture of Currimundi Family Doctors.
