From the 4th of January 2019, Doctor Charles will be relocating full time to Mackay to undertake further training and will not be available for further consults. All patient records are held at Currimundi Family Doctors to maintain continuity of care and we invite Dr Charles’ patients to visit one of our other excellent doctors.

Originally from Banbridge in Northern Ireland, Dr Charles completed his medical training at the University of Dublin Ireland in 2004.

His hobbies include all sorts of sports, and has most recently obtained his advanced open water certificate. Dr McCartan is a keen snowboarder, and enjoys keeping generally fit and active.
