Dr Manilka graduated from Medical School in 2009 after first obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and life sciences.  He completed his intern year and 2 further general residency years at the Princess Alexandra Hospital before moving to the Sunshine Coast and Nambour Hospitals to complete several years in surgical registrar roles in Urology, Vascular surgery and General Surgery (including trauma surgery, colorectal, Hepatobiliary, UGI and breast & Endocrine).  He has also had prior experience in Neurosurgery, orthopaedics and plastics. 

Aside from his surgical experience, he has completed multiple terms in General medicine, cardiology and respiratory medicine, Emergency medicine, rural practice, mental health and geriatrics as well as completing further training in Paediatrics through the Sydney Children’s hospital network.  

He has interests in skin cancer, minor surgical procedures and men’s health and is looking forward to providing the best possible holistic care at Currimundi Family Doctors.
