Dr Rachelle Smyth
MBChB, FRCGP, FRACGP
Dr Rachelle Smyth completed her medical training in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1998 and became a Fellow of General Practice in 2005.
Dr Rachelle, her husband, and their 2 boys moved to Australia in 2009 where Rachelle worked in a Cairns GP clinic for 2 years before making the move to the Sunshine Coast where she has worked ever since.
Dr Rachelle has extensive GP experience and special interests in chronic conditions, children’s and women’s health. She has further qualifications in women’s health including Mirena’s, copper IUD and Implanon insertions.
She also has an interest in breast cancer, working at BreastScreen and Sunshine Coast University Hospital to assist with waiting times of screening, checks and breast cancer patients. Dr Rachelle is also a shared care pregnancy provider.
